Zielona Gora city

Zielona Gora is rather small city and located on the west side of the Poland. Some time ago I was able to visit it for the first time after 10 years! It has changed a lot.

Zielona Gora might be good example that Polish people like old architecture. I remember this place as full of destroyed buildings, with walls not refreshed and re-painted for many years. Nowadays the look of the city has changed as you may see on pics.

On one of the photos you may see one old house left. Just to keep you realize the differamce between 10 years ago and now.

Warsaw is the city of contrasts. Near modern glass-buildings you can find old houses that remember WWII and just across the street comunistic apartments.

Let’s have just general overview. Pictures were taken near University Library and from roof of Palace of Culture and Science [PKIN]. In other posts we will focus on more details.

Warszawa to miasto kontrastow. Obok nowoczesnych szklanych wiezowcow mozna zobaczyc stare domy pamietajace czasy II wojny swiatowej, a zaraz po drugiej stronie ulicy komunistyczne blokowisko.

Ponizej kilka ogolnych widokow na miasto zrobionych w okolicach Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej i z PKIN.

Lazienki Park

One of the most famous places in Warsaw. Green park with palace build on the water. This place was once the King’s summer residence. In the park one can find also monument in memory of Frederyk Chopin, Polish pianist.

Between the trees you might be able to see squirells and peacocks.
